I grew up in the Balkans, where food was never just food. It was love, tradition, Sunday gatherings, trays of warm bread, handwritten recipes, and the smell of something baking before guests arrived. Desserts were made with care. Bread was kneaded by hand. And every celebration had a cake.

Now I live in Toronto, Canada, but my kitchen still carries those flavors — layered pastries, soft yeast doughs, rich cakes, comforting savory pies, and the kind of recipes that bring people together.

Zdravo, ja sam Divna — srce i ruke iza ove male kuhinje na internetu.

Odrasla sam na Balkanu, gde hrana nikada nije bila samo hrana. Bila je ljubav, tradicija, nedeljna okupljanja, pleh toplog hleba, sveske sa receptima i miris kolača pre nego što gosti stignu. Poslastice su se pravile pažljivo. Testo se mesilo rukama. Svaka proslava je imala tortu.

Danas živim u Torontu, ali moja kuhinja i dalje nosi te ukuse — slojevite pite, mekana dizana testa, bogate torte, domaća jela i recepte koji okupljaju porodicu.
