500 g phyllo dough
70 g butter
70 g oil
500 g ground meat
6 medium potatoes, grated
2 medium onion, diced
Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush pan with butter-oil mixture.
- Take phyllo dough and unroll it carefully. Cover with a moist tea towel to avoid drying.
- Spread two of the leaves on the counter,
- Brush the phyllo with the butter-oil mixture.,
- Arrange the filling on the half sheet along the wide side of the sheet: with ⅙ of grated potato, ⅙ of ground beef, ⅙ of onion, salt and pepper
- Roll up and put in a pan. Repeat the same with the next five rolls.
- Cut each roll into six pieces. Brush with leftover butter-oil mixture.
- Bake at 400 F for 40-50 minutes until golden brown
- Remove from oven. Serve warm with your favourite yogurt dip or sauce next to these phyllo meat rolls for dipping.
