Balkan Childhood in a Jar – Plazma Dessert with Strawberries & Nutella

There are desserts…
And then there is Plazma.

For so many of us, Plazma keks is childhood.
It’s the first biscuit dipped in milk.
It’s the taste of summer visits, birthdays, and grandma’s kitchen.

Today we’re turning that iconic, timeless Balkan classic into something just as comforting — a beautiful layered dessert in a jar. Creamy ricotta filling, sweet strawberry jam, fresh berries and Nutella, all hugging those familiar Plazma crumbs.

No baking. No stress.
Just layers of memories.


Ingredients (3 jars)

Cheese Filling:

  • 350 g ricotta cheese
  • 200 g Balkan or Greek yogurt
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Other:

  • 100 g crushed Plazma cookies
  • 3 whole Plazma cookies
  • 150 g Nutella or Eurocrem
  • 50 g roasted crushed hazelnuts
  • 350 g homemade strawberry jam
  • 200 g chopped strawberries
  • 3 whole strawberries

Instructions

In a bowl, gently mix ricotta, yogurt, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

Crush the Plazma cookies — that smell alone will take you back. Crush the roasted hazelnuts as well.

Chop fresh strawberries and keep three whole for decoration.

For easier layering, transfer cheese filling, jam and Nutella into piping bags.


Layering the Memories

In each jar:

  1. A soft layer of cheese filling
  2. A generous spoon of crushed Plazma
  3. Sweet strawberry jam
  4. Fresh strawberries
  5. Nutella
  6. A sprinkle of hazelnuts

Repeat once more.

Finish with creamy cheese on top, sprinkle hazelnuts, then decorate with a whole strawberry and that unmistakable Plazma biscuit standing proudly.

Chill for 30–60 minutes before serving.

Sastojci (3 čaše)

Fil:

  • 350 g rikote
  • 200 g balkanskog ili grčkog jogurta
  • 70 g šećera u prahu
  • 1 kašičica vanile

Ostalo:

  • 100 g mlevene Plazme
  • 3 cele Plazme
  • 150 g Nutelle ili Eurokrema
  • 50 g pečenih mlevenih lešnika
  • 350 g domaćeg džema od jagoda
  • 200 g seckanih jagoda
  • 3 cele jagode

Priprema

Pomešajte rikotu, jogurt, šećer u prahu i vanilu dok ne dobijete gladak, kremast fil.

Usitnite Plazmu — već taj miris vraća uspomene.
Usitnite i lešnike.

Iseckajte jagode, a tri ostavite cele.


Slaganje

U svaku čašu:

Fil
Plazma
Džem
Sveže jagode
Nutella
Lešnici

Ponovite još jednom.

Završite filom, pospite lešnicima i ukrasite celom jagodom i Plazmom.

Ohladite i poslužite.
